Here are some bullitin boards and displays I've done in the last two years.

When my elementary art classes studied different types of art from around the world, I updated my bulletin board in my classroom everytime we began studying a new country or area of the world. Below is my bulletin board on Japan.

I also updated my classroom door, adding a new country everytime we began studying a different one.

For Red Ribbon Week when I taught middle school, I used this display to show off some of my students' work. Of those pictured, all art works have a drug-free theme.

Autumn is my favorite season, so of course I wanted a hallway display to celebrate the season! These artworks are from our contrast and emphasis lessons. Both the 7th and 8th graders learned the rule of thirds and used this tool in their artworks. The 7th graders drew a pumpkin patch where one pumpkin was colored differently to show emphasis. The 8th graders drew a cat sitting on a pumpkin where the bright yellow moon drew our eye into the painting.

This last photo was taken at our school district's Showcase of Schools, where schools decorate tables to show off their academics and achievements. I painted the blue backdrops for this event and decorated them with lights and Pop Art-themed artworks. Here you can see several of the 7th Grade Andy Warhol-inspired Pop Art self-portraits, as well as the 8th Grade Pop Art-inspired self-portraits. There are also Pop Art candy drawings and soup cans on display.
